Aiming to compete with top models such as the Hyundai Tucson, VW Tiguan, and Audi Q3, this mid-sized crossover blends cutting-edge technology with luxurious design.
The Seal U-DM-i boasts sleek styling reminiscent of German engineering, featuring C-shaped LED headlights and a more aggressive grille. Its rear design includes a 3D lightbar and sporty air scoops. Inside, the vehicle exudes luxury with faux leather, soft-touch materials, and a crystal-encased gear select. The spacious cabin is enhanced by multi-color ambient lighting and a panoramic roof.
Performance-wise, the Seal U-DM-i is powered by a petrol/electric motor combo, offering two battery sizes and EV ranges between 80km and 125km. It features a 1.5-liter engine acting as a generator, producing 218bhp. The vehicle comes in Boost and Comfort trims, with the flagship Design model offering a turbocharged engine and twin motors for all-wheel drive.
Fast charging capabilities allow the Seal U-DM-i to reach 80% charge in just 35 minutes, making it ideal for both city driving and motorway travel. With an expected fuel efficiency of 1.2 litres/100km, it promises to be a popular choice.
