    EGO EV Chargers is committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988-2018 as they apply in Ireland.

    Your Rights Under GDPR

    As a data subject, you have the following rights:

    • Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
    • Right to Rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
    • Right to Erasure: Also known as the "right to be forgotten", you can ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances.
    • Right to Restrict Processing: You can ask us to pause the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
    • Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a commonly used format.
    • Right to Object: You can object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
    • Rights related to automated decision-making: You have the right not to be subject to solely automated decision-making, including profiling.

    We will respond to all requests within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this by an additional two months, but we will inform you of any extension within the initial 30-day period.

    Making a Complaint

    If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (DPC), the Irish supervisory authority for data protection.
